Pluviophile · Last updated 25 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Pluviophile mobile application (the "App"), developed and published by Sean Willmott ("we", "us", "our"), handles your information.
The short version: Pluviophile does not collect, store or share any personal data. Everything the App saves stays on your device.
None. The App does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email address or any other personal information, and does not include analytics, advertising or tracking technologies of any kind.
The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device so it can function:
This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us or anyone else, and is deleted if you delete the App. It may be included in your own device backups (for example, iCloud backup) under Apple's terms, which you control through your device settings.
The optional "Pluviophile Pro" one-time purchase is processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We do not receive or store your name, payment details or billing information. The App checks your purchase entitlement with Apple's StoreKit service solely to unlock Pro features on your device. Apple's handling of your purchase data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising networks or social media SDKs. The only external service the App communicates with is Apple's App Store (for purchases and entitlement checks, as described above). System features you may choose to use with the App, such as AirPlay, are provided by Apple and operate under Apple's terms.
The App is suitable for general audiences and collects no data from anyone, including children. Because we collect no personal information, we have no data from children (or anyone else) to access, correct or delete.
Under data protection laws such as the UK and EU GDPR, you have rights over personal data that organisations hold about you. Because we do not collect or hold any of your personal data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct or erase — all App data lives on your device and is under your direct control. If you contact us by email, we will use your email address only to reply to you.
If a future version of the App ever changes how data is handled (for example, by adding an online feature), we will update this policy before that change takes effect and note the new "last updated" date above. The current version will always be available at this page.
